Resize Columns in reports

Hi there - when running a report - especially where a description or details are used - could we please have the ability to resize the columns so that our reports are clearer - we may need to be able to reduce the font to fit more on the page - but much like Reckon Accounts - a report where text wraps around a small column width isnt of much value - we need to be able to make it readable and clear! Thank you

Just to get a bit more detail so I can flag this with the team working on reports, are there any specific reports you've come across where resizing the columns would be especially useful? Particularly around the example of certain fields wrapping text making it harder to view, even if you have a screenshot of a report and its currently display would be great.

Having the ability to resize any column in all the reports would be the ideal

Hi Rav - thanks for this - for me mainly its the Account Enquiry report - I like to have a details column and the classification column…. then in the Transaction reports - the reference and the details columns will wrap text which is a pain.. but the main culprit is the Bank Reconciliation report… I can email you some screenshots but not in this public forum - shall I send examples to psgsupport?

I have some good news to share, our reporting team have been quietly working away in the background on some pretty significant work to bring some major upgrades to functionality in reports. I'm happy to say the team have just let me know the ability to resize columns will be included in this upgrade among a bunch of other enhancements 🙂🎉

Just for transparency, we're going to start with a small group of selected, frequently used reports first and then progressively expand. The first batch of reports will be;

Account Enquiry report
Profit and Loss report
Payroll Summary report
Balance Sheet report
Payroll Detail report

We're getting pretty close to an alpha testing phase so wanted to check with you both whether you'd be keen to get early access to these new upgrades on the above reports once it kicks off toward mid-April so you can try it out, but more importantly give us feedback on it?
