Paid invoice still showing as unpaid

Hi, I have a paid invoice still showing up as unpaid in my invoice list. When viewing the invoice, it shows as being overdue while simultaneously showing paid, including the link to the payment record. The same can be seen in the Invoices app, I cannot do anything here to fix it - can you help at your end?

Is this occurring on just this one particular invoice or others as well?

Was there anything different or out of the ordinary about how the payment was applied to this invoice in comparison to others?

I'm going to shoot through an access request to your book so we can take a closer look at this. It'll come through separately via email, can you please take a look and grant access when you have a sec.

Thanks for the quick response. I have granted access so you can have a look at what's happening.

As far as I'm aware, this is the only invoice where this issue has arisen, but it's also the first time I've seen it. There was nothing extraordinary about the payment process for this invoice either - I did exactly the same thing for all other invoices processed around the same time.

Thanks for that Rod, I just jumped in to have a look and I can't see any errors or anything particularly wrong with it either.

I've put the details of this together into a case and have sent it to our devs to investigate why this is occurring on this invoice.

I'll keep you posted.

Hey @smithrj

My dev team have just got back to me and would like you to test something out when you have a chance.

Can you please unlink that payment from the invoice (click the Unlink option), save the invoice and then reapply it again after that.

Does that trigger the invoice to be marked as paid for you?

I've unlinked and re-paid the invoice, and the invoice no longer appears on the unpaid list, so that seems to have done the job. Thanks for your help - I suspected that may do the trick, but wanted you to see the problem for yourself.

Awesome, glad that worked.

I'm still not quite sure of the cause of why that happened so I'll see if I can get any more info around that but perhaps it may just been a one-off due to a bad API call at the time.
