Reckon Software Account

Hi,

I received an email today saying that If you manage clients or separate entities using Reckon software, where these clients and entities do not have their own Reckon software licence, then unfortunately this does breach our Reckon Licence Agreement, and it is a matter that needs to be urgently addressed.

Just checking if this is legit or a scam.

Has anyone else received this email?

I think that this would be unfeasible for my clients as they don't use Reckon at all, that's why I have the licence. When I purchased the licence 4 years ago, I was told that I could have as many entities on the one licence as I wanted. That is why I went with Reckon Hosted.

If this email is legit, will anyone else have this same issue and if so, how can it be solved without costing our clients extra funds for no gain.

Yes, it's a legitimate email from one of our team members. I do understand there may be frustrations around this and hopefully we can work something out.

If you could please take a look at this comment made by our Community Manager @Rav in regard to multiple legal entities to help provide clarification for you.
