β¨ Adjust leave balances with an effective date
We've introduced a new dedicated leave adjustment screen leave adjustments feature which allows you to create leave adjustment entries with an effective date for each leave type! π
You can now create leave balance adjustments for specific leave types, apply an effective date to each adjustment and also edit or delete existing adjustment entries!
This gives you clear visibility and control over leave balance changes through adjustments rather than overriding the existing balance. It also ensures accuracy of historical payslips and reports using effective dates.
Any previous leave balance changes you've made manually before this release will now be displayed within the new Leave Adjustments screen. This ensures:
- Full visibility of historical balance corrections
- Improved transparency of how current balances have been derived
- A complete audit trail of both past overrides and new adjustments
- Option to edit to ensure accurate reporting
β¨ Improvements in the new pay run experience
We've made a bunch of little enhancements in the new pay run experience based on your feedback!
- The project field dropdown now displays the parent and sub-parent together.
- You can now right-click to open an employee's profile in a new tab directly from the employee list.
- Improvements to termination pay runs to prevent them from going into read-only.
- The amount column in the Lump Sum tax section will now display a full border for better visibility when selected.
β¨ More font support for emailed invoices
We've added fallback font support for emailed invoices and invoice reminder emails to ensure your invoices display correctly when the default Open Sans font is unavailable on the recipients PC. If this happens, the font will fallback to Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, and Sans-Serif.
π Bug Fixes
- We've made some changes to ensure any FBT values added to an employee's YTD will display regardless of the effective date.
- Resolved an issue where changing an account status in the Edit Bank Accounts screen would keep the account status as closed.
- Removed the Account Code and Account Type as columns on the Account Enquiry Report.
- Corrected the Simpler BAS help link to the correct ATO page in the Tax Settings screen.
