We're really excited to announce Reckon Accounts 2026 v35 is now available and supports Payday Super requirements commencing 1 July 2026!
This release introduces new payroll compliance features designed to help you prepare for mandatory changes to super reporting, along with the updated 2026/27 tax scales.
β¨ What's new in Reckon Accounts
From 1 July 2026, super contributions reported to the ATO must including Qualifying Earnings (QE) under the new Payday Super legislation. Reckon Accounts 2026 v35 includes new tools and enhancements to help simplify compliance to meet these new requirements.
π Qualifying Earnings (QE) support
You can now set eligible wage categories as Qualifying Earnings, allowing Reckon Accounts to correctly include QE information in ATO submissions.

π 2026/27 PAYG tax tables
Updates to income tax table will take effect from 1 July 2026. The new tax rates will be automatically applied based on Payment Dates to ensure you're always paying the correct amount.
π Under-18 employee alerts
New payroll alerts notify you when an employee turns 18 during a pay period, helping you stay on top of changing super obligations.
π Improved payslips & STP workflow
The Print Paycheques & Pay Slips screen has been updated to make Payday Super reporting easier, including quick access to Export SAFF with pre-selected dates.
β¨ Upgrade now & prepare for Payday Super
You can upgrade to Reckon Accounts 2026 v35 at any time. Qualifying Earnings reporting and the 2026/27 tax scales will only apply to pay runs dated from 1 July 2026 onward.
Upgrading early gives you time to review and update your payroll setup ahead of Payday Super taking effect.
