Updating pay in pay template

Hi everyone

I need some help in understanding what I've done wrong.

I've setup an employment agreement for our award and am using it with a pay template, everything working ok until now.

Today I changed the pay rate for our 1st level technicians in the template but when I do the pay run it's still using the old rate. How do I make sure it uses the new rate from the template?

Changes made to the pay template won’t update automatically for employees already using it.

You will need to go to the employee(s) assigned to the template and select the option to update to the latest version of the pay template.

I feel silly not seeing that message.

I have now updated the template for each employee that has it assigned but the pay run I was creating still doesn't show the updated rate.

Is there anything more I need to do?

yes, Kindly delete the existing draft pay run and create a new one, as this will ensure the updated rates are applied and it will be fixed .
