Can't print reports from Reckon Accounts Plus

Has anybody had an issue with the Reckon Accounts Plus not allowing reports to print or even email. No trouble printing invoices or statements. After saying it is waiting for printer to connect it comes up with an Error Code 14528 02506. and immediately shuts down program. Please help.

Can I just confirm a few details so we can narrow this down:
• Which Reckon version are you using Reckon accounts Plus V35 ?
• Is the error appearing every time you try to run any report?
• Does it happen with all reports or just specific ones?
• Have there been any recent changes (Windows updates, printer changes)?

Hi Reeta. Using V35 Release R1 - Revision 35R1.1. Every time I run a report - including different reports. I thought it was the printer so i uninstalled and reinstalled printer. Not sure of the windows update though. Appreciate any help.

Thanks for your message. Could you please try restarting the Print Spooler:

Close Reckon accounts
Press Windows + R
Type services.msc and press Enter
Find Print Spooler
Right-click and select Stop and after few seconds start again.

Once done, please reopen Reckon and try running the report again. Let me know how you go.

Sorry to hear that it didn’t work.
I have attached a KB article with further instructions that should help resolve the issue. Please follow the steps outlined in the article carefully. Once done, please reopen Reckon and try running the report again.

Hi Reeta. Thank you so much. I could only find the Program data file (qbprint.qbp). Deleted it and printed a couple of reports from one file. And then changed files and printed from the other. Seems to be working. You are fabulous. Just thinking with Payday tomorrow and BAS coming up I was stumped.
