You may have seen from our previous announcement earlier this year we’ve introduced a brand new pay run creation experience in Reckon One - designed to be faster, simpler, and built directly from your feedback!
The new pay run experience provides full page pay run editing, giving you more space to view pay run information. It also includes in-line editing of pay items without the need to open multiple panels & menus. You can even pay multiple pay periods in a single pay run with PAYG tax automatically calculated across periods.
With its modern design, improved usability, and enhanced features, the new pay run creation experience will soon become the default way to create and manage pay runs in Reckon One.
Don't wait, make the switch to Reckon One's new payroll experience today!
From 17 August 2026, the classic payroll creation functionality will be retired, and you'll be automatically moved across to the new payroll experience if you haven't made the switch already.
We recommend making the switch today so you can get familiar and start enjoying the benefits of the new payroll experience right away.
What’s changing?Â
- The classic payroll creation experience will be retired on 17 August 2026.
- After this date, the classic version will no longer be available.
- The new payroll creation experience will become the default and only option for creating pay runs in Reckon One.
All of your existing pay items, categories, classifications and business rules are retained and remain unchanged.
What should I do now?
âś… When you create a pay run, you'll see a banner to switch to the new pay run experience. Simply click it to make the switch!
