Now that purchase orders can be created I want to understand how to partially bill a PO.
I can see you've mentioned its possible to do but I'm still not clear on how exactly. Can you please explain?

Awesome to hear you're starting to use purchase orders đ
Yes, you can convert a purchase order to one, or in this case multiple bills if you'd like to partially bill a PO.
To do so, just hit the Convert to Bill button on the purchase order. This will generate a bill using the items and details from the PO and if you'd like to only bill selected items, simply remove those you haven't received yet from the bill.
Once you save the bill, any items you've added to the bill will be linked to the purchase order and it will update to a Partially Billed status. Any remaining unbilled items will remain on the PO which you can then bill at a later stage.

I think the part I'm having trouble with is how to remove the items from the bill after converting the purchase order.
How do you remove items from the bill?
Gotcha, its actually super easy and all you need to do click the X button on the respective item you want to remove from the bill. Check out my example below đ
I'd still definitely recommend checking out the how-to video linked above as it walks through this exact process step-by-step and shows how to fully and partially bill a purchase order. It should make the whole process a lot clearer. đ
