We're super super excited about this release! A couple of long awaited features are finally here along with a heap more improvements! Check out the full inclusions below.
✨ Unscheduled Recurring Transactions (Memorised Transactions)
We've heard your feedback on this and we're really excited to get this much requested feature in your hands! Unscheduled Recurring Transactions (otherwise known as Memorised Transactions) is now available in Reckon One!
Unscheduled recurring transactions allow you to create dedicated templates for invoice, payment, receipt, bill and journals and then generate those transactions on-demand. This feature can help you save time, reduce errors and cut down your data entry.
Unscheduled recurring transactions is available on the Accounting Premium and Ultimate plans.
✨ Inventory & Purchase Order reports now available in the new report experience
You can now access inventory and purchase order reports in the new report experience!
If you've switched over to the new report experience which has a greater range of filters, sorting, date ranges, column & display controls you can now access the following inventory & purchase order reports as well -
- Inventory Details
- Inventory Status by Item
- Inventory Valuation Summary
- Sales by Item (including updated inventory-related features)
- Item List (including updated inventory related features)
- Open Purchase Orders by Supplier
- Purchase Order List
- Purchase Orders by Supplier Detail
- Supplier Transactions (including updated Purchase Order related features)
✨ Company details on your report PDF exports
The new report experience now gives you more control over the company text details shown on report PDF exports. Company information can be managed in global report settings, then adjusted for individual PDF exports when a report needs to be shared in a more professional format.
What’s included
- Set default company information for PDF exports, including company name, legal address, physical address, phone, mobile, fax, email, and website.
- Adjust which company details appear on each individual PDF export.
- Use saved global defaults across reports while keeping per-export changes limited to the current PDF only.
- Respect existing report settings permissions, so only users with edit access can change global defaults.
✨ Total Amount displayed on Journal List
Here's another one that has come from your feedback! A new Total Amount column is now displayed on the Journal list screen which allows you to quickly see and identify the total of that specific journal entry.
✨ Improvements to invoice status labels
We've made some small visual improvements to the status label on the invoice list screen. The status is more visually prominent and will display a border colour that matches the status.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- We've fixed a whole host of niggly little bugs in the new report experience thanks to your feedback. Please keep them coming if you notice something that looks a little off.
- Addressed some visual issues in purchase order and invoice screens.
- Superannuation details on a pay run now stay as they were recorded, so past pay runs keep showing super even after an employee's fund details are changed or removed.
- When you add super pay items to an employee's existing superannuation, each item now keeps its own limit and minimum values instead of copying them from the first item.
- Past pay runs now keep the super fund and member details that were recorded at the time, even if the employee's super setup changes afterwards.
- Assigning a spouse deduction, member voluntary or salary sacrifice super item to an employee now carries the item's limit and minimum per pay values into the employee's pay setup.
- You can now leave the limit and minimum per pay fields blank when adding or editing a super item.
- The STP YTD Reporting figures no longer change when you remove a salary sacrifice super item from an employee's profile.
- Keyboard tabbing through the pay run grid now moves through every cell and the remove row action in the expected order.
- The Show and Hide columns list in a pay run no longer offers Projects when your book does not use Projects.
- Editing a pay schedule now saves your changes to the pay period and pay date.
- Employment Type can now be changed from the employee wizard.
- The bank feed wizard no longer offers feeds from consents you completed earlier, so only the feeds from the consent you just finished are listed.
- A temporary banking service outage no longer marks an uploaded statement as fully allocated, so its remaining transactions stay available for you to allocate.
