Add a default note to an invoice

Hi all, is there any way to have a default note on every invoice in Reckon One?  I need to have my private health insurance provider numbers on my invoices, and I'd rather not have to copy & paste them every time I generate an invoice.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Christian,

Unfortunately you cannot do this for the notes field. The only field on an invoice that you can currently set some default text for is the Payment details field.

To do this, select the Administration menu (i.e. cog icon in the top right of the screen) > General settings > Day to day > Selling > Invoices > Payment details.

Also there are four invoice templates available in Reckon One so you need to ensure that you enable this field to appear on the relevant invoice template you are using.

To do this, select the Administration menu (i.e. cog icon in the top right of the screen) > General settings > Day to day > Selling > Invoices > Manage templates > Select the relevant template > Footer > Set Payment notes option to yes.

The support screen in Reckon One has an option to submit a product suggestion, i'd recommend to submit one regarding being able to set default notes text for invoices.

There is a new Add-on for Reckon One that gives you greater control over the design of your invoices. The add-on will let you add a note on every invoice.

"Prettier Invoices" is a Windows program that lets you create much prettier invoices than Reckon One lets you by giving you more control over the look of your invoices. You can add extra text, images, or add a watermark image to your invoices.

A free trial is available for you to test it out.
