We have new PC's using Windows 10 Pro, we have re installed Reckon Accounts Premier Edition 2013, all good apart from now cannot create a PDF to email invoices etc directly from Reckon, seems there is a problem with QuickBooks V4 PDF convertor, I have deleted and reinstalled QB V4 PDF Convertor and made it the default printer as suggested, no success, other messages state "printer not activated - error code 20",I can see the PDF convertor in "Printers and Devices", status is ok, any assistance would be much appreciated!

Reckon 2013 is allegedly not compatible with Windows 10 but you might want to try it in compatibility mode1

You could download a pdf program, then print to the pdf printer. When it prints in pdf it will ask if you want to save or email, so select email.
This will get you working if you are not ready to upgrade to the Reckon version of your books.

Hi Sue,
Unfortunately, Reckon Accounts 2015 and below are not fully compatible with Windows 10 which in many cases results in errors when performing PDF related tasks.
Reckon Accounts 2016 is fully compatible with Windows 10.
I'd recommend taking a look at this KB article here which contains potential workarounds that may help however I cannot guarantee a successful result.
To run your program in compatibility mode as suggested above, right click on your Reckon Accounts launch icon > Properties > Properties > Compatibility tab > Select the Compatibility Mode (screenshot example below)
