Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a general checklist for End of Month?

What are you doing now? Do you have a daily list, a weekl? list? A yearly list? Try to keep in mind what you are trying to achieve. You can start with the bank. Move on to wages. Debtors and creditors should follow. Then stock. Finally you can look at GST and superannuation. If you cover off all these areas you can be reasonably confident the information is accurate at the balance date

I have an excel spreadsheet for each of my clients - currently monthly but could be changed to weekly, quarterly or whatever is required.  I tick off as I complete the task.  I know that some of the younger bookkeepers use computer programs or apps but I am still on the excel wagon.
Let me know and I can send it over to you to have a look at.
