QTY in Estimates

Hi, i have a couple of items that I have added to an estimate that are free, but when i change the $ amount to zero, it automatically changed the QTY to zero, so the customer thinks we aren't sending the items.  Accounts Premier 2017

    Hello Cathie,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

    When you change the $ amount, are you changing the Total amount or the Rate Amount? The former will change the Qty to zero as it needs that to times the rate price to produce zero.  Change the Rate price to 0.00 and the Total will change to 0.00 and the Qty will remain.

    I do not have a Rate column in the estimates forms. I will amend the forms then everything should be good to go.
