I have accidently changed an equity account to a bank account. Does anyone know how to change it bac

When ever I try to change it back it say that a bank account cannot be changed to anything else!

    Sorry - you cant change it back.. you will need to make a new equity account - and then edit the entries to point to the new account - or journal the balance out of the bank account to the equity account - then make the bank account inactive.  Cheers Linda

    Hi Michelle.  Depending on how many transactions you have entered today, you could go and reinstate your backup from yesterday.
