I need to enter bank opening balances from 1st July -

I am new to this and only using it part time to help out. I have undone previous reconciliations because I want to go back and use the new bank rec system to ensure it matches with bank account each month. However the first reconciliation shows the opening balance as zero ( I  put in opening balance when I set it up.) why does it show an opening balance of zero in the reconciliation module.

    Shouldnt you use a journal entrt for June 30?
