Single Touch Payroll

I use Reckon Accounts Desktop, and process payroll for 5 clients. How do I set up STP, do I get each client to register their business and then invite me which I will then have 5 tiles when I log onto the Reckon Portal?

    Are you going to process their payroll every pay day?  Are all 5 client datafiles on your computer?  If the answer is yes, and you are processing the payroll - then I would setup just a portal account for yourself and add the 5 clients (tiles) to your portal - I would only have them setup portal access if they are actually doing the payroll and lodging the files themselves... if you are doing it - then you will need to add your BAS or TAX agent details to the Company & Advisor window and there will be an extra declaration step each time you lodge - asking you to confirm that you have the necessary and appropriate authority to lodge STP on their behalf.  But do not add yourself as an advisor if they are lodging the STP files themselves...

    Hi Linda 

    Apologies for the late reply. I am completing weekly payroll for each of my clients.
    I helped them create a portal account for themselves, added my BAS agent details to their accounts. I then created my own portal account and used the share option. I now have all their tiles on my portal account.
