Could someone advise is it correct when you run a STP report for a previous pay period to be a replacement file is it correct that is has the full YTD  figures including the pays that have been run after the period ofr which you are rerunning the report, not the YTD figures to the date you are rerunning the report.

Hi Danielle, I don't think you can run an replacement file if you have already sent the STP report for the next weeks pay

Hi Pia, thankyou for your reply, I hadn't actually sent the next STP report, but I had run the pays.

STP is only YTD.  once you run the STP file it overwrites the previous file.  there is no going back.  any mistakes need to be picked up before running the next payroll.
