EOFY total gross figures showing zero

Hi,
Have just tried to do the EOFY Pay Run. When I upload them, the Gross figures are showing as Zero amounts to report to the ATO. However, when I get into the details of each employee it shows everything correctly gross, tax super etc, except for the zero figures showing up the very top.

Do you mean within the Single Touch Payroll Screen? if so Min did as well and so did last years. Its because its verifying the information not resubmitting to the ATO0

Yes Teagan, within the STP screen. Does it eventually show the gross figures correctly or is there something else I need to do?

Hi Kerry
Normally, an STP submissions shows the totals of that (submission’s) Pay run.
However because no figures are being paid in a “Finalise Year”-only submission, this is (correctly) reflected as $ 0.
When you have uploaded the (or any) STP submission, if you click on the “Detail” link on the right hand side of it, this displays the YTD totals for each component by employee.

Thank you for explaining something that I think all Reckon users should be made aware of in the Reckon STP instructions. It seems to be a minor oversight, but non the less important point, that could save any confusion
