Error: The Journal does not balance

I have had this error pop up while trying to post the pay run. Is is our second ever payrun, the first being a trial with one employee that worked fine. I am now trying to run it for 128 employees and when I called their advice was to delete the payrun and try again?

I have found others having this issue as far back as 2017 so surely this has a fix?

    Hi Andrew,

    Try going into each employees pay details in the payrun and change the quantity to 1 and back to what it was to refresh the gross.  Then try to finish the payrun.  If you still get the error delete the payrun and recreate it.

    Hi there

    I have ended up deleting the pay run and re-entering the details as I had 128 employees that needed paying!

    This issue appears to be ongoing and when I called support they just quoted this as a "bug"... can I expect a fix on this anytime soon?
