change in employee status

I have an employee who is changing from casual to full time permanent. Do I just edit the status in employment details and the app does the rest in terms of leave entitlements? I am using the basic version of payroll. Thank you in advance for the help, JJ.

    @JJ Reckon basic payroll app does not handle leave entitlements so it is immaterial what status you have for the employer.
