Google will no longer support use of third-party apps

in Reckon Accounts (Desktop)

We are currently running Reckon Accounts 2022 and use a gmail account to send invoices. In order to do so we have to Allow Less Secure Apps. Google are saying from May 30th they will no longer support the use of third-party apps. Does anyone know what this means for sending invoices using gmail? Sorry this is a bit over my head 😕

    I can't turn on "Allow Less Secure Apps" to send my invoices from gmail when 2 step verification is set in Google. How will we email invoices if we can't turn on "Allow Less Secure Apps".

    Will setting an App password for Reckon fix this problem?

    I have solved this issue by using full version of Outlook and linking gmail account. Microsoft apps now have third party access.
