Filtering Invoices based on first line of Billing Address

Hi, I am trying to generate a report of invoices with a particular value as the first line of the billing address. Unfortunately, line 1 of the billing address is not a filter option, only lines 2-5. is there a way to still do this? Thanks

No. My word that's an extraordinary request. Why don't you search on the customer?

    Hi There

Try adding the “Address” column to your report then sort by that column ☺️

Hi @Acctd4 , unfortunately "Address" seems to omit that first line since it is often stored as the contact name. When I try using contact name instead though, it only shows me the field known as 'name' and not this field I would like. If the 'invoice' object is anything similar to the quickbooks 'invoice' object, then this field can be accessed via the API in JSON as invoice["BillAddr"]["Line1"] (using python syntax).

    Hi @1nton4tion

My apologies - I wasn't at my computer at the time to check the specific column name but I meant "NameAddress".

I don't know anything about the API side of things but display-wise, here is an example (from the sample file) of the various address column options:

NOTE: The ability to produce specific results from here will greatly depend on the consistency of your data entry format eg you need to ensure you enter each contact's address details in the same way. As you can see from the above, this has not been the case in this file; in some records a person's contact NAME has been entered as the first line, whereas in others it's the street address 😬

    Hope that helps.

Looks like it is not something easily done manually in Reckon. If you really need this feature, I can help you to build a custom solution to create the report filtered by the first line of the address. Let me know :)
