trying to access 2nd user

Hi all

I have Reckon Accounts Premier Contractor Edition

I have a licence for 2 users I have always only used one but I wish to now utilize my 2nd user on my laptop. When I download the program it requires me to input the licence key code which I have copied off my desktop but it says it is invalid do I need a new licence key code for the 2nd user?

    if you have a 2 user license, yes you have to use the 2nd license key, not the same one as on your first installation

    What version is it? If you logon to the Reckon members site with your customer number and pin you will see it there, providing it’s not too old.

    Actually the regular login window is quite different to yours Shaz, you go to the Download software tab

    Thank you so much Kris I appreciate you responding.

    I assume that would have been on some paperwork when I bought the licence a few years ago. Can i completely take it off my desktop and install that same code on this laptop? Would it have to be deleted before it will allow me to use that code?

    currently it is the 2022 version but it has been updated from an old version.

    I will log on and have another look all I could find before was the one number.

    Hi Jenny

    If you login to the Members section with your Customer Number & PIN & go to the Get Installation Keys area.


    Select "2022" Product Year & "Reckon Accounts Premier 2022 ..." as your Product & click on Get IKC:

    (This is my Partner one but yours should be fairly similar)


    It generates a new IKC number each time.

    I appreciate you both helping me to get my program up and running it is all sorted now after following your directions and a couple more errors which had easy fix instructions when I googled them.
