How do you show Child support deductions in STP reporting?

I'm not aware of this being a requirement at the moment. I'm not sure if this will be included in STP2 or not but if it is the instructions will cover it.

At the moment you don't, however further STP developments (starting from Phase 2 - due to commence in January 2022) will eventually map to all payroll categories & will automatically flow through to relevant government agencies including Services Australia (aka "Centrelink") & the Child Support Agency, eliminating the need for employers to report separately 😊

Just spoke to Child Support and it will be implemented in STP Phase 2 January 2022.

Just checking if Phase 2 now shows the Child Support as I cannot see it in the file I upload to ATO, deductions column is Zero

    Hi Jody

No, Child Support reporting is currently optional in STP2 so Reckon haven't included it at this stage 😊
