Font error when printing in Reckon Accounts Hosted π¨οΈβ οΈ - RESOLVED β
Hi everyone,
We're looking into reports from Reckon Accounts Hosted users encountering a font error message such as the example above when trying to print.
I'm really sorry about the inconvenience this is causing at the moment and we've got our teams are looking into it as we speak. We should have some further news to share on this very soon and I'll be posting updates below.

If you're running into this error message (pictured above) then we'd love to get a screenshot of the message, if possible, that shows the specific font that is appearing as 'not installed'.

Hi everyone,
We're still looking into this at the moment but just a quick update.
Printing π¨οΈ
If you're running into the error message above when trying to print, if you click OK on the message the print job will still be completed. The 'missing font' will be substituted with the Arial font.
When printing in a batch however, the message prompt needs to be acknowledged for each print that contains the specific font.
If you find that Reckon Accounts Hosted looks to be frozen or not responding during a print, there may be a prompt/window open in the background that is awaiting action. Try pressing Alt and Page Down or Alt and Page Up buttons to bring any windows in the background to the foreground.
Emailing π§
When emailing, the form does get emailed without any error, and as above, the 'missing font' will be substituted with Arial.
Our teams are still working on this at the moment and if you're encountering this error, it would be great to get a screenshot of the message which shows which specific font is missing for you.

I'm still getting that message (the font that's missing for me is Bookman Old Style).

have used Reckon Hosted for approx. three years and suddenly today, went to print invoices and pop message advised Arial Narrow Font not an option???

Thanks for the report on that specific font, really appreciate it π
If you click OK on that message, it should print normally and will substitute that missing font to Arial.

Yes, documents are printing - just in Arial normal. The error message is the same as the screenshot posted further up the comments, with the exception of the font type. Thanks for the speedy response.

Our team is getting close to solving this. We've got a fix that is currently undergoing testing at the moment and all going well there we'll push it into Reckon Accounts Hosted shortly after.

YES it will still print after clicking OK on the error message, but it is annoying ha.

UPDATE - THIS ISSUE IS NOW RESOLVED β
Hi everyone
I'm happy to advise this issue is now resolved.
You will need to logout of Reckon Accounts Hosted and the missing fonts will be restored. To logout, please exit your file using File β‘οΈ Exit and log off your session in the Reckon Accounts Hosted control panel before logging out.
Once that is done, log back into Reckon Accounts Hosted.
If you have any questions, or continue to encounter the font error message after doing the above, please let me know.
Lastly, thank you all for your patience while we got this sorted today and apologies again for the inconvenience its caused.

We are now experiencing this issue and it is coming up with the same message but the Font mentioned is "Arial Narrow". Have to click OK to print but it is a bit annoying.ο»Ώ

Weβve had to remove some fonts from Reckon Hosted.
We sent an email, posted on community and added a notification on the RAH dashboard to try to give users a heads up.
