I really need some help with trying to enter a lump sum Salary Sacrifice Super payment through STP please. I’m being told I can’t do it as it’s a negative pay run but there must be some way I can record it through STP. It has all been ok’d by the accountant but need to figure out how to get it to the ATO please.

    Hi @Harvz

Yes, you can absolutely do that!

Often, there can be confusion around Salary Sacrifice as many don't realise you need a "Salary" (eg payment amount) to actually "sacrifice", as part of the transaction! It sounds like you're not including this Salary part (which would therefore result in a negative pay, rather than "$0.00"):

I have a guide I've written-up on exactly how to configure & process this for STP2. Happy to send it through to you, just shoot me an email direct 😊
