How does your accountant log into Hosted with the new Multifactor Authentition code


My accountant can't log into my Hosted as he isn't getting the MF code, I am so how can I organise this please?

You canโt, he has to get the code from you, or whoever has MFA setup on their phone.
He needs a subscription of his own and then you can share your file with him and he will have his own MFA setup

The MFA is attached to the hosted login, not the reckon user name. All the systems work this way.

You may want to share your company file from your account to his account, as MFA's cannot be shared nor split between multiple users.
You can review how to share files through our handy guide here:
Sharing your company file will allow your accountant to access their account using their own MFA and still allow access to your account.

I got the impression the Accountant is using the end users login credentials.
As discussed, this wont work because the MFA code is tied to the end user's phone.
The Accountant needs his own Hosted account. If he is a professional partner / Accountant, he doesnt pay extra for this.
