Unable to do termination pay

    I am now using the Reckon One integrated payroll & it is not letting me do a termination pay.

    Could you please share more detail about the scenario? Have you already terminated the employee?

    Specifically, I would like to understand what happens when you attempt to create the termination pay. Are there any error messages that appear?

    In the employee screen I am selecting the employee to terminate, options, terminate employee, date, reason for termination, voluntary cessation - then terminate employment.

    Comes up with an error: employee could not be terminated.

    I have put a call in for technical help.

    Thank you for sharing the steps you followed. It sounds like you've been following the process in correct way, which is great!

    This error message could be due to a few possible issues, such as incomplete employee details, inactive super funds linked to the employee and also pay runs that are in draft, including that employee. Since , you've already reached out to technical support, they should be able to investigate the specifics for you. In the meantime, it might be worth double-checking:

    • If the termination date falls within the employee's last pay period.
    • If there is any draft pay-runs which include that employee.

    Hopefully, this helps narrow it down a bit more.

    The employee did have a pay processed today.

    The termination date is down for today also - maybe that is the issue.
