Cash Flow on V31

For some reason this is not working as it used to. The automatic entry does not work and when I click on the "show complete list" I get a blank sheet and the system crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I get the same thing. Also the account cash balance projections don't work. I am now thinking of abandoning this product.

    Thanks for reaching out. I have a few questions for you to get started:

    1. Where is your QDF file currently saved to? Is it in C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\QUICKEN\? Or is the file someplace else?
    2. Have you tried Validating the file? (You can do so through File → File Operations → Validate)
    3. When was the last time this function worked? Was it working a while ago?

    Alexis in answer to your questions I don't have QDF my backups are rkn and are stored in my dropbox account. The Validate only appears to work with QDF. The problem has arisne on change of version probably 3/4 months ago.

    The QDF is your data file for Personal Plus/H&B v31.

    Where on your computer does it show up when you try to run a Validate?

    Hi Alexis

    QDF data files appear to be in my Cdrive under program data. When I run vaildate I get a message there are data loss errors. See attached report.

    Dear @davmorris_10860027 ,

    There's a few things to cover here - I'll go through them one by one.

    1. Your file is in the wrong location. Reckon Personal Plus/H&B Files should be in C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Quicken.
    2. Your data file name is currently too long (26 characters long). Can you please rename the file so that it is 8 characters or less?
    3. Validating the file has removed some of the errors, but you may need to run a Super Validate after performing the last two steps. You can read on how to do so here: https://help.reckon.com/article/fdjus8b5n1
