I notice this morning that something strange seems to be happening with the latest updates on posts as showing on the initial opening page that there is something new to view. Specifically I note for the following posts:

  1. Missing Logo…. - most recent by RAV at 7:05. There is no post at that time today.
  2. Tip Tuesday…. - most recent by Jason_Z at 7:05. There is no post at that time today.
  3. Why can't I copy…. - most recent by RAV at 7:04. There is no post at that time today.
  4. Downloading and Uploading…. - most recent by RAV at 7:04. There is no post at that time today but I do notice that the discussion is being tagged as closed.

I have logged out and back in again, but nothing changes, these 4 posts are still showing that there is something new that has been added to the discussion today, but there is nothing new to view. John L G

    Morning @John Graetz

I can explain that 🙂 There are a handful of posts that I periodically 'bump' back up to the top of the page for some extra visibility, when I do so it adds the 'new' label and timestamp which is a little annoying as its not exactly new.

The posts that I bump up are specifically the informational posts on the new RAH platform along with a couple of others on how to use the Community site.

I've been doing this a little more than usual in the last few days due to the higher traffic coming into the Community as folks get accustomed to the new RAH platform and its just so folks can see relevant info immediately.

Hope that helps to explain and apologies for the confusion!

Thanks, Rav. I understand your explanation. Sounds like a pretty good idea what you have been doing to keep some discussions in the foreground! John L G
