Can I access the STP portal without downloading an STP file?

Occasionally I need to access the STP portal, but I don't know how to do it without pretending I am uploading a file to the system.

I go to Employees - Process Single Touch Payroll and then I just select all employees and click export. I then have to save that file to then access the STP portal.

I know it's no big deal, but I was wondering if I can access it without saving the file?

I would like to know also. I would like to check figures before EOFY without submitting a payroll event.

Hi @Retreev,

You can access the portal for STP by going to https://portal.reckon.com/ , you will need to login with user name and password that you use to login to GovConnect.

Once you have done that, you will be able to look at the GovConnect entity anytime you want without having to export.

Got into the Reckon gov connect but it took me to the get started page and prompts me with inputting info for first tome access?

This usually happens if you have logged in to portal account with no active subscription or STP tile? If you can please confirm if you are logged-in to correct account.

You can check that by clicking on Profile icon as in the screenshot attached -

if I click on profile on this page all my info is there but still can't see existing STP info

Do I have to fill in the info to start account I am worried that would mean I am starting a new account with Gov Con and I don't want that I want to access the existing account.

Hi @NarellePaterson

Do not create anything new in this account. You're currently logging in to the Reckon Portal with a different login to what your STP entities/ABN has been registered to which is why you're not seeing anything and being prompted to setup GovConnect for the first time.

Instead, if you login to the Reckon Portal with the same credentials that you usually login to the Portal with, you'll be able to see and access your STP entities in GovConnect as usual. This doesn't necessarily mean the same login credentials as your Reckon Accounts Hosted account, its whatever login you use to access the Reckon Portal/GovConnect.
