June STP still showing as Pending

Question

Good afternoon all,

I did two STP in June - One for the last pay for June month, and one as finalisation. The status for last pay run is still showing as pending. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.

Hi @Yeepy

On the odd occasion submissions can fail to be processed by the ATO. There can be various reason for this such as outages with the ATO's SBR2 service which handles STP submissions, SBR2 system maintenance, or if they response hasn't been sent to us etc to name a few.

The submission that is currently showing in Pending status, that looks to be the pay run submission whereas your EOFY finalisation was successfully processed, is that correct?

When an older submission is stuck in Pending status like that, it's usually due to an issue at the ATO's end that was occurring at that particular point in time.  However, each STP submission - including Finalisation - simply updates YTD balances.

Your finalisation was processed successfully so the balances are now updated 😊

Hi @Yeepy,

If you have your employees check on MyGov, they should see the YTD values for their last pay slip.

That should stop any worrying that you may have as long as those figures are correct.
