Print Invoice showing ACTUAL BALANCE owing (after part payment)

I'm needing to print an invoice that will show the actual balance, after they've made a part payment - when i print it it is only showing the full amount still (not showing balance owed after I took the payment off it).

  An invoice will only show the invoice total unless you put the payment on it and link the payment to the bank account. Otherwise a statement is the best way

  Customise the invoice and go to the "Footer" tab to add the "Payments/Credits" and "Customer Total Balance". You will probably then have to go to the layout to change where the boxes are sitting on the invoice.
