The bank details (bsb and account) keep disappearing from the chart of account bank account set up. Can you please tell me the fix for this issue?

    Hi @MPAY ,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community!!

    Thanks for reaching out.

To better understand and resolve the issue with your bank details disappearing from the bank setup, could you please clarify a few things:

    • Is this happening with a newly created bank account, or is it affecting an existing one?
    • Are you logged in as the Admin user when making these changes? Admin access is often required to save certain settings.
    • Do you have any other bank accounts set up with the same BSB and account number? Sometimes duplicate details can cause conflicts.
    • Are you working in Single User Mode or Multi User Mode? Some changes may not save properly in Multi User Mode, especially if multiple users are accessing the file simultaneously.

Once I have a bit more detail, I'll be able to guide you more accurately toward a solution.

    Regards,

    Reeta

The account was update with new details provided by head office, then we changed them back and created a new bank account set up for the new details. The existing account that was updated and changed back is the one not working and the newly created one has been deleted with no transactions against it. The details have been updated in the admin user account and this was logged in as single user mode. There are no duplicate bank accounts set up.
