Has the option to print payment summaries been removed from Hosted?


Am trying to print a payment summary for an employee who says he can't see employment history in his MyGov account. Even after STP we were still able to print summaries.
(Employees, Process Payment Summaries, etc)
That menu option is no longer there

Reckon Accounts Hosted has removed the Payment Summaries functionality. This is because:
- Payment Summaries are now obsolete under STP Phase 2. Please find the article below which explains in detail:
- Employees now receive Income Statements via their myGov account, which are updated in real-time.
So if you're looking for the old “Payment Summaries” menu, it's no longer available in the latest Reckon Hosted versions.If you have any further question, happy to help.

Hello, I have a question to extend on this.
I have an employee that cant access his mygov account as it is locked with his old mobile number.
Other than spend the time on the phone and change his number so he can get a copy of his payroll summary. I need to provide him a paper copy.
How can this be done if the option is not accessible in STP Phase2

Under STP Phase 2, traditional payment summaries (group certificates) have been retired and replaced by income statements, which are accessible via the employee’s myGov account. This change aligns with the ATO’s real-time reporting requirements and ensures compliance with current legislation.
However, if your employee is unable to access their myGov account due to a locked mobile number, and you need to provide a paper copy of their payroll information, here’s what you can do:
Alternative:Provide a Payroll Summary Report.
While payment summaries are no longer available, you can generate a Payroll Summary Report from Reckon hosted file that includes:- Gross Pay
- PAYG Tax
- Net pay
- Superannuation
- Deductions
- Allowances
- Hourly pay
Steps to Generate and Print:
Go to Reports> Select employee and payroll> select Payroll Summary.
Select the relevant date range (e.g. full financial year) and Employee
Click Print or Export to PDF to provide a paper copy.
This report is not a substitute for the official income statement but can be used to provide the employee with a breakdown of their earnings for reference.Let us know if you need any further assistance.

It is a bugger really. But I have done what you suggested and given to the Employee.
Also suggested he takes the time and gets his MyGov sorted and update his mobile number.
