Not run End of year since 1996
My Reckon QDF file is now 43k and contains transactions back to 1996. Obviously it has been updated many times through Quicken and then Reckon software upgrades. I'm now wondering if it hasn't become a little slow to load (!) and might do with archiving previous data.
What flexibility does the EndofYear Copy provide with respect to dates? Does it expect to only find last years transactions?
If I commence using the new file will I lose access to older transactions except by opening the archived file?
Should I not bother and continue using what I have?

There's fairly comprehensive help information on the Year End Copy functionality within the in-product help menu which should give you a good indication on how it works.
Just type in Year End in the search
