How do I import my CBA business account into Reckon Hosted?

I have read so many screens and tried and failed every time. Is there something I am missing? I cannot seem to be able to upload my bank feeds to my account. CBA has a Xero and MYOB option and I have followed every other one for Reckon using the help but keep failing. Is it NOT possible to import bank statements? It seems to be the case.

Many thanks.

    Hi @AnthonyBetros

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

If you can please confirm what happens when you import the statement. Are you not able to find where to upload or it gives you any error?

Please let us know, so we can help you get this fixed. Thank you!

    Regards

    Hi Tanvi,

I get error code -30 come up when trying to save the statement as a Reckon Accounts V5 pdf converter . When I save it as a QIF and export it to Reckon. It lets me upload the file but I cannot find it anywhere. The file is QIF (Quicken AUS, 2004 or earlier). I have done extensive research to find it, but cannot. Is there a video I can watch? All of the videos I have found are old and I don't have some of the features in the dropdown banking menus. I have wanted to try to do this to make it a little easier reconciling the bank accounts. Commonwealth Bank and NAB are our 2 main business ones.

    Many thanks.

    Tanvi,

Under Reckon bankdata, which is the best way to set up the feeds? There are so many options.

    Thanks.

    Hi @AnthonyBetros

    Thank you for confirming.

From the error code -30, seems like the Printer is not activated for the software. Please check this out -

Error Code - 20 , - 30 or - 41 Printer not Activated in QuickBooks QBi 2010-11 and hangs - Reckon Help and Support Centre

Let me know, how you go or if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!

    Regards

    Hi @AnthonyBetros

In Reckon Bankdata, are you looking for the best option (Direct, Open-Banking, etc) to set-up the feed under?

    Regards

    Tanvi,

We always send our statements to onenote and reconcile the accounts from there checking each transaction off. This works really well. I was trying the reckon converter to see if it would work and it doesn't. I am not too concerned about that though.

Yes to setting up bankdata for this. I assume that this is the best way to set up bank feeds to be transfered into our account to reconcile? I cannot seem to wrap my head around it all and which option I am meant to take to be able to have bank feeds transfered over from our live bank login to match transactions and save time. I hope this is making sense to you.

    Thank you.
