Just wondering if there is a way to run the trial balance showing monthly DR and CR as totals for each account?

To generate a Trial Balance report in Reckon accounts enterprise, please follow these steps:
From there, you can select your preferred date range and customize the report according to your requirements. If you need any assistance, let me know.
Thanks Reeta, That report only shows balance as at and I wnat to show monthly movement in the trial balance with an opening balance too.
Or even a general ledger but only showing totals
Unfortunately, the customisation of the Trial Balance report, does not include adding monthly column figures.
The General Ledger report cannot have columns added for Month
The Profit & Loss report can have columns added for Month
The Summary Balance Sheet report can have columns added for Month
Would a customised / modified "Transaction Detail by Account" report, with columns removed give you the info you need?

That is as far as what is possible with the settings available for reports.
The report could be exported to Excel and further manipulated there if you are familiar with that type of work.
