Super Report By Fund with Totals

Is there a report that shows the totals for each Super Fund? For example, the Super Report By Fund just has the employee's names and the all other details, but it doesn't show the total for each Super Fund.

I would like a report that can be run to show, for example, Australian Super, the list of employee names and the amounts we are paying, with a total at the bottom. Then below that is First Super with the same information and a total for what is owed to First Super.

Hopefully that makes sense.

The default report looks something like:

Just to clarify, you want the report to show:

The name of the Super Fund.

One line to represent the total amount for each employee name instead of the multiple lines for each date in the period that the report is being generated for.

Then the total amount to be paid to that specific super fund.

Repeat as for as many super funds are being paid.

Then a grand total for the amount to be paid.

Is that correct?

You could potentially export that Super By Fund report to Excel for further modification.

My report isn't showing like that. It looks like this:

I don't understand why it's not showing like yours? But yours is how I thought that report should look and I was confused as to why it doesn't!

I think you'll find yours is the same - The "Fund Scheme" column isn't the fund grouping, it's just showing that data field from each employee record. 😊

Or are you generating some kind of Memorised Report? (which may have been modified in the past)

I think I can see the problem now …

From your screen snip, it looks like you haven't set up separate super fund Payroll Items (eg You've only got ONE generic one called "Super" & you've just manually entered the fund name in each employee's record instead) :

This specific Super Report by Fund report is driven - & grouped - by the different super Payroll Items … thoigh, which is why you're unable to see the breakdown:

I always set up a separate Payroll Item per fund AND per type (like the above)

You will only be able to generate this report effectively, when you have the setup configuration that way 😬

Unfortunately I inherited this system, so I didn't set it up. I have found a few things like this. I might have to go in and do some adjustments!
