Pinning Reckon Accounts Hosted login to taskbar

Hi lovely people,

Could anyone please advise how to add the Reckon Hosted icon to the taskbar? As we access it via the cloud (and it isn’t installed locally), there doesn’t appear to be a direct option to pin it.

I believe this may need to be done through the browser settings. For now, I have saved it as a browser favourite.

You could potentially create a shortcut and pin that to your taskbar so that it immediately opens to the Reckon Accounts Hosted login screen.

It largely depends on which browser you're using but here's an example I put together with Google Chrome which is the recommended browser with Hosted.

Create a shortcut by going to the browser menu ➡️ Cast, Save and Share ➡️ Create Shortcut

Once the shortcut is created, drag it to your taskbar to pin it. Clicking on that shortcut will then immediately open to the Hosted login screen.
