Can't find my SAFF file when I try to upload it to Colonial

HELP! Its the first time I am trying to upload my superannuation information to Colonial.

I am saving my SAFF file in a folder in the Live Q drive but when I try to upload it to Colonial First State I can't find it? What am I doing wrong? When I choose "upload file" I don't get this option as shown?

you have to download from the Files icon to the PC and upload to Colonial from there

I still don't understand, what Files icon?

I go into Colonial First State and select "upload file" but I can't find the Q drive to upload my file?

you are using Reckon Hosted according to your post. When you backup do you download the backup from B drive to your PC. This is the sme process to download the Saff file. Along the row of icons above the normal Reckon window, there is one called Files. When you click on this you then select Q drive, find your file, then click Action - download. This will download to the Downloads folder on your PC

When I select Backup the options I dont get many options to back up to. Do I just chose This PC, and then what - new folder? I don't understand this "Hosted" system very well, much easier on a desktop version.

no you can only backup to the B drive, then you use my instructions to download the backup

@Burnbaby when you save files to your Q or B drive in Hosted, those are locations unique, and stored within, Reckon Accounts Hosted only.

When you're uploading a file to another platform, like Colonial in this case, it won't be able to look into your Q drive because it's not Hosted. Instead you need to download your SAFF file from Hosted to your PC so that you can upload it to Colonial.
