Pay Day Super Using Beam

Have started using Beam today for the first time for my Payday Super. Came back with a few errors, so was able to work through them and fix quite easily. My question is, as I will be uploading my super contributions weekly, obviously before the 1st July, will the contribution be sent weekly, or will this month's accrue and be send from the 1st July.

Good to hear you’ve started submitting via Beam , that’s a great step forward.😊
When you submit a SuperStream batch through Beam, the contributions are processed based on each individual submission, not accumulated for a later date.
So, if you’re:
• Creating weekly pay runs, and
• Submitting a Beam batch each week
Then the super contributions will be processed and distributed weekly once each batch is submitted and cleared.

Hi @Reeta Paudyal , I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread but it's related - I sent our first Superstream file via Beam yesterday but it still hasn't left the bank account - how long does that process usually take? I just want to make sure I have it working properly.

I selected Direct Debit, and put the bank account in to the system.

Hi Catherine,

I did my first super using beam, last week. The money was debited from my account the next day. The status went from awaiting payment to sent to funds 5 business days later.

Hope that helps. I was nervous doing the first one, but all appears to have worked. Although I havent checked my Super Fund to see if has processed

Hi @Stacey_6976885 thankyou so much for that, I really appreciate it. I'm nervous about meeting our new Payday Super Commitments but if it happens that quickly normally it should be fine 🤞🏻

@Reeta Paudyal Thank you for that also - I assume this will be sufficient to meet our PayDay Super obligations? 5 business days seems a long time for processing if it does take that long sometimes?
