How do I setup a direct bank feed instead of Open Banking?

Hi all, new here. How do I change how I do bank feeds. I originally tried to set up Open Banking but having so much trouble with it. I'd like to try direct feeds instead but when trying to set this up I no longer get the option of how to do bank feeds, it just automatically wants to do Open Banking. Thanks!

What bank provider are you with and what account type is this for?

Hi Jason, it’s a Bendigo Bank business account solely in my husbands name but I am a signatory and have e-banking access to. I’ve called Bendigo Bank who have said I need to go into my local branch and sign a form. When I did this the branch said I need to download a form off Reckon website then upload again. Can’t find any form. Just seem to be getting the run around, hence wanting to try direct feeds.

Our bank feed setup should provide the best options for your situation. I tried these options and was able to choose to set up a direct feed. Could you give it a go and let me know if you can see it too?

Thanks Jason, I had originally answered no to that third question as it’s a sole trader account not a company account. Does this matter? It look like it will work if I do as above.

I don't think that should matter if the account allows for direct feeds, but let me double-check and I'll confirm for you.

Thanks for your patience, I confirmed that it shouldn't be an issue but Open Banking is still the recommended option if possible.
