Invoice templates

Question

Hi, We recently migrated to Reckon one and now setting up new invoice templates. I use light invoice template as my default. But after I saved my default template and add footer notes and how to pay notes those were not reflecting in the invoice previews. I saved changes, refresh it logged out and logged in again still no changes in the template. How long usually Reckon one takes to update a change? Is it not real time?

So, I believe changes only reflects in new invoices create after the changes not for the existing invoices?

And all these existing invoices are done by Reckon migration team which were migrated from old Reckon desktop version.

Thanks for getting back to me and for the screenshots, they really help.

The first image showing your invoice template settings is the Light Invoice template with your new footer info. However the second image with the created invoice itself is using the Bold invoice template.

I'm assuming this is why you're not seeing those changes being reflected.

You've mentioned you've set the Light template as the default one, so when you next create a new invoice, it will use that template from the outset and show your additional info in the footer.

You can test this now by clicking Create as if you're going to create a new invoice. If the Light invoice has been set to default it will be pre-selected as your template which you'll see here 👇

Thanks for the reply 😊,

Those were all appeared in template setting screen and I can save them and preview them in the settings screen. But when I tried to print preview in existing invoice under day to day tab, all those changes were not reflecting. We manage many books in Reckon one , few of them shows all other information in print preview except footer information. Some of them not even changing the default invoice template either.

I have attached template settings screen with current saved settings and actual invoice after the changes.
