After my old computer died, I have been trying to install Reckon Accounts 2013 on a new Windows 8.1 computer. Installation starts off OK, allows me to select "Region" , "Click to Start", then provides a "More Information" menu where I select "Install" and then the option to "Click here to install Reckon Accounts 2013" upon which everything comes to a halt.
I have tried disabling the anti-virus, but same result.
I contacted the Assistance phone number who suggested that I install the "Disk1" file from the HAB folder on my disk onto the desktop, and try installing from that, but that didn't work. I was also referred to the link
