    Memo = Description

    when report is open go to Memorise Report>Display(1st tab)> columns - Description

    Hi Lexie (that's my nieces name!)

    There are two memo fields in Reckon.  The first is the one that appears at the top  under the Customer/Supplier field.  The second is the memo/description fields that appear in the details table next to the account, tax code and amount.

    Mostly, if you want a memo to show up in most reports, it needs to be in the top memo section, not in the table below.

    To do that go to modify report > under the Display tab in the columns section, scroll down and choose "Description".

    Hi Lexie

    Either Memo will appear in the 'description' column on a report, it will default to the memo next to the account number, if there is  a description in both.  If there is no description next to the account number then it will default to the description at the top where the details are entered.

    It is set this way because if you have a split transaction you can have a memo next to each account line and this will show up in that accounts report.
