Cannot Install Personal 2013 on Windows 10

Have been using Personal 2013 for three years - upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 with no issues.  Now Windows 10 has had to be re-installed but cannot install Reckon either from the CD or from the download - Reckon_Accounts_2013.exe.  Troubleshooting reports "incompatible program detected".

    Hi Geoff,

    That's an interesting error message you're receiving and not one that I've seen before.

    I've had a chat with our technical support team and although 2013 is not fully compatible with Windows 10, they have suggested trying the following
    • Disconnect from the internet
    • Switch off your firewall, anti-virus program and any other security service that is active.
    • Proceed with the installation and see if there is any change.
    • If successful switch all of the above services back on.
