Personal Plus 2016 hangs up after backup

I have installed PP16 with W10 Home 64 bit OS. Lately PP16 hangs up after doing a back up. I have validated the file but no improvement. Any advice?

Could you give us a bit more detail in regard to the issue you're experiencing. By 'hang up' do you mean the program freezes? Does it close down or do you need to close the program down manually after this?
Are you using the Online Backup feature or creating a local backup file?
