Wondering Why we cannot seem to delete obsolete product codes

Just wondering if there is any way to delete Obsolete Product codes we can only seem to be able to make them inactive However we have many that just need deleting !

If they have any transactions attached to them they cannot be deleted - if there is no transaction you can. This keeps the integrity of the information stored within your financial accounts.

These products must have transactions behind them and you cannot cancel something that is a transaction.

I've used the cleanup company data on many occasions for this very reason. If this had not been done before you may have to run the cleanup a year at a time.
